About Us
Owner and Founder, Hansel, completed his ASE Automotive Technician Certification at the Lincoln Technical Institute. He went on to graduate from the esteemed Mercedes Benz Elite School. This training program allows Hansel to work as a Qualified Technician after he complete the twelve-week program and six months of employment in a dealership. This program specifically prepared him for work in dealerships that provided vehicle repair and maintenance, from: chassis electronics, driving dynamics and comfort control systems, and engine management, and pre-delivery Inspection. Hansel started with Ray Catena Mercedes Benz in North NJ, and then continued on at EuroMotorcars (Mercedes-Benz) of Devon, PA until 2008.
Hansel soon realized his interest was making the cars look perfect... from the cleaning, detailing, polishing, painting, and more than anything wheel restoration. This passion lead him to apprentice with his dear friend, Tom, who helped Hansel perfect his craft. With this knowledge, Hansel would go on to try different wheel repair employment and small business ventures. But the quality was never "good enough"... He new he could provide more for his customers. In 2016, Hansel formed his own company specializing in mobile aluminum wheel repairs and restorations, aptly named My Wheel Guy, LLC (which today is doing business as Wheel Revival). Due to changing times and a life-altering turn of events in 2019, Hansel almost wanted to close everything down... But the Universe had a different plan for him! He never closed the business, working on all types of wheel jobs, little or big. During slow times, practiced and perfected his craft. That turned about to be a pleasant surprise as the collectors car market saw a huge spike in demand for vintage and luxury sports cars. Hansel became very popular as COVID quarantine inspired many car collectors to re-invest in their ride. Partnering with very reputable dealers, supporting a local charity focused on the car community, and truly catering to the car enthusiasts of Southeaster Pennsylvania skyrocketed the demand for wheel restoration, rim repair, custom caliper painting, powder-coating, and all the other related wheel services one could imagine. Today, Hansel is proud to "count my blessings and what a blessing it has been to have time to show what I can do with wheels." Always researching and looking for bigger and better equipment to improve the quality, service and overall experience, Hansel and his team continue to make wheels and calipers renewed and revived! |
